Aaron Franz is a writer based in the United States. He holds a bachelor’s degree in English and American Literature from New York University. He worked for many years as an ESL (English as a Second Language) instructor as well as in the theatre, where he was co-founder and co-artistic director of the now defunct Public Citizen Theatre based in Portland, Oregon. At PCT, he directed the shows The Maids and Dealing with Clair. He also produced She Wrote, a collection of staged readings from female playwrights of the early twentieth century, as well as Tell it Like it Is, an adaptation of the first abortion speak-out held in New York City in 1969.
